Tomorrow, I plan to do the most idiotic bizarre fun-filled and amazing thing I’ve ever tried. I’ll be on a team of documentary makers, working on a time-limited documentary film project.

I even tested out my awesome camera today. Even managed to focus the picture! Wow!

My awesome Canon camera!

My awesome Canon camera!

This is really amazing considering how little I’ve actually used this camera.

In other words, I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing! But that’s fine, right? Do any of us really know what we’re doing? Hmmm …?

In any case, Debbi the Documentarian will be hard at work all weekend. I’m really looking forward to proving to myself that I can do this.

Now, if I can just figure out how to get this story on Medium onto this Medium blog/publication/whatever!

I also have to figure out how to tag this post. Is this a post about documentaries? About crazy things I’m doing for fun? Bizarre hopes and dreams? I don’t know, but this promises to be a weekend among weekends!

Have I mentioned that this documentary we’re making can only be five minutes long? And that this is a competition, where the winners get all sorts of cool filmmakey stuff?

Now, is that awesome or what?

And speaking of cool documentary makers, here’s a video from the one and only Jeff Krulik!
