On Saturday, I attended the Sisters in Crime Mystery Extravaganza, which is the Chessie Chapter’s end of the year big book signing event.
This year, it was held at The Writer’s Center in Chevy Chase, MD. Or Bethesda. Hey, whatever. Somewhere in that neighborhood.
We usually have the Maryland signing at the Howard County Library in East Columbia, but it was not to be this particular year.
And so I got up Saturday morn and dragged my gimpy ass all the way to Bethesda/Chevy Chase, where I got to make a little speech (along with 15 14 other authors, because one was sick) about my latest book, plus whatever else I wanted to say. And, as usual, I blurted out some words. I guess they made sense, because people laughed at the right parts and clapped afterwards. Yay!
Care to see a few photos? Of course you would!
- Awesome crime fiction!
- I know this dude! 🙂
- These look familiar! 🙂
- An Alan Orloff poster!
- And Alan Orloff, in mid-scowl! 🙂
And even more photos!
And, of course, me! 🙂
PS: Since it’s Halloween, which means the ChristmasChanukahKwaanzaa season of giving and joy has begun, here’s an interesting mash-up video I came across! 🙂
