It has reached the point now where I’m exploring how to balance writing novels and writing screenplays. Or comic books or journals or coloring books. Or fiction podcast scripts. But no matter what I write, the bottom line is that writers write.
That is the long and short of it.
Now, being that I don’t intend to make writing my hobby (which the IRS will deem it, if I fail to make a net income this year), I’m choosing to focus on screenplays now. Because, apparently, writers make actual money doing this.
And besides, what better way to get one’s foot in the door of the screenwriting and filmmaking community?
This doesn’t mean I’ll stop writing books. It just means it might take a bit longer for them to come out.
