So in the interest of keeping this short, I’ll simply refer you back to the post I put up on Friday. At that time, I mentioned that the Crime Cafe crowdfunding project had 23 days left in the campaign. Well, now we’re down to 20 days.

Other than telling you about my pledge to give my portion of any profits from selling the Crime Cafe e-books to the Ellicott City Partnership for the purposes of supporting the flood relief in that town, what more can I do to entice you to support the awesome stories to be included in the Crime Cafe boxed set and anthology?

I know! Add another perk—a secret perk!—something I’ve already done. If you donate $40 to this project, you’ll get a coupon for a substantial discount (down to $17—the lowest I can go on Udemy) on my Beginner’s Guide to Writing Mystery Fiction online course. Check it out!

By the way, I’d like to thank everyone who has supported this campaign, including one of the participating authors. Because, let’s face it guys, any support that even the authors can give is an investment toward covering the costs of making these books. And the sooner we do that, the sooner we can make a profit. Wouldn’t that be awesome?

All the fabulous donations we’ve gotten have left me feeling truly humbled and grateful. But when I saw my name mentioned on this blog, well that just blew me away. So much so that I had to reblog it here! 🙂

Thank you, M. Ruth Myers and Donna Fletcher Crow! This one’s for you!
