“A woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction.” These are the words of Virginia Woolf from her book A Room of One’s Own.

Having a space where you can write every day is essential. Ideally, a writer needs a place where he or she is most comfortable. For some writers, that’s a table at a coffee shop, like in this photo taken on the road.

However, I feel most comfortable writing in my messy little office. And that’s what I will show you today!

As for money, well, of course it helps to have that, too. I remember my sister joking once that the book A Room of One’s Own should have been titled A Trust Fund of One’s Own.
