Hi today, I’m reviewing Love Songs for a Lost Continent. That’s Love Songs for a Lost Continent by Anita Felicelli. Did I say that right? I hope so. Anyway, …
This is a really good collection of short stories. There are a lot of themes in this thing. A lot of things having to do with being an immigrant, adjusting to a new culture. Particularly West Coast culture seems to be a lot of the focus of these stories. And I thought that was interesting as I’ve lived on both coasts, and I kind of have a sense of what’s being said here.
So in any event, I enjoyed them. The characters are so well drawn and the short stories kind of hit, you know, the emotional points they should hit. And so I do recommend this book. I think it’s really, really good. It’s a nice collection of short stories. So read it. I got it from the library. It has to go back, but in any case, that’s it. And I’ll talk to you later.
PS: There are still few days left to join the DMV Dystonia team by the Aug. 1 deadline! 🙂 But, really, join after that if you’re reading this too late. Internet time … whatta ya gonna do, huh? 🙂
Remember, when you sign up to pick DMV Dystonia from the dropdown menu of fundraising teams.
Thank you! 🙂
