Hi. Today I’m reviewing Burn The Negative. That’s not the cover of Burn The Negative, obviously, but I read it on my Kobo.

But here’s the cover again! 🙂

Burn The Negative by Josh Winning. I enjoyed this book. I’m not normally a horror fan, but this book actually appealed to me a great deal. It’s really interesting because I did not see the end coming, which I feel like now—wow, I should have. But it’s funny how … I could see my expectations being twisted, but I was kind of thinking against that, which caused me to not see the real answer, if that makes any sense. Your expectations … a writer tries to shape your expectations with the words, right? So here are these words, and I’m thinking, okay, you want me to think this, but this could be true, too. Ooh, that would be really devious, could get really ugly, but then it turns out to be something else entirely.

That’s kind of what the book was like. So if you don’t mind the idea of horror, if you’re a horror fan and also a mystery fan, I think you’ll enjoy Burn The Negative, which is about a child actress who had a really rough relationship with her mom, and when people start dying, this horror picture that she was in comes back to haunt her yet again in this book. Quite literally haunt her. That’s it. That’s all I will say, and I’ll give this one high marks, because it kept me interested all the way through to the end, which kind of made me go, oh, wow, didn’t see that. Geez. Okay then. Thanks. Talk to you later.

You can buy the ebook from various online retailers. Including Amazon, if you insist of course.

You can also buy it in print from my online bookstore and support indie bookstores.
