Debbi Mack is the New York Times bestselling author of the Sam McRae mystery series. She’s also published a young adult novel and several short stories. Debbi began self-publishing her work in 2009. In 2015, she signed with WildBlue Press, who are re-releasing her mystery novels. Debbi current work-in-progress is a standalone thriller. She plans to write a sequel to her first young adult novel.

Debbi is also a screenwriter, who’s adapted the first Sam McRae novel into a screenplay. The book has been optioned to be made into a film.

In addition, Debbi is an aspiring filmmaker. She’s interested in making documentaries, as well as becoming a film archive researcher.

Debbi is a member of Sisters in Crime, Mystery Writers of America, Private Eye Writers of America, Women in Film and Video, Docs in Progress, and the American Bar Association. She’s appeared on and moderated several writers conference panels.
